This scene is incredibly moving to me. Kaoru has just watched a deadly swordfight between the love of her life and this man, Enishi, who is out of his mind with grief. She has more than ample reason to despise him, but, in her fashion, she comforts Enishi instead. Here's a woman who personifies forgiveness and acceptance.
